Headless - Demo

«Headless» — a visual novel in the genre of mystical thriller and psychological horror.

The demo includes the first 4,5 chapters (prologue + chapters 1–4 and half 5).

19th century. A fictional provincial town. Quiet streets, dim lanterns, gossip and prejudice. Life flows peacefully, until the first murder.

Agnia, a modest orphan, is executed. But death is not the end.

After the execution, brutal killings shake the town. Witnesses speak of a headless figure wandering in the darkness. Doctors report the victims' bodies are drained dry.

Albert, chief of the local police, a graduate from the capital stranded in the backwoods, tries to find a rational explanation. But the evidence leads where reason refuses to look.

This is the remake of a project originally created as a 2020 Jam. The story has been completely rewritten, expanding the script from 5,000 to 50,000 words. New characters, chapters, and CG have been added.
